Information on data protection
We, at admedicum Business for Patients GmbH & Co KG (admedicum), take the confidentiality of all information entrusted to us by all participants very seriously. We are acting as the data controller according to Art. 4.7 of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in this respect and guarantee compliance with its strict protection standards.
As such, we ask you to read and accept the following privacy policy before giving your personal data. The legal basis for the collection of data by admedicum results from Art. 6.1 a) and b) of the GDPR.
Purpose of data collection
The sole purpose of the data collection is to contact you if you have chosen one of the options a) to send you a copy of the summarized ENPADE survey results via email and / or b) to contact you for an interview and / or c) to contact you for future research in the field of NTM lung disease (marketing excluded). No other use will be made of your data.

What personal data is collected?
We collect your name and email address (regardless of the option you have chosen). Your contact information will be technically separated in order to disconnect your previous answers in the online survey from your contact information. This will keep your answers in the online survey anonymous. Your contact information and answers in the online survey cannot be combined.
Who has access to your data?
The employees of admedicum have access to your personal data as long as it is useful and necessary for the respective purpose. They will only use the data for the purposes indicated. Since the data is collected via the independent online platform SurveyMonkey (see data controller), this company also has access to your data. They will not use it except for the purpose of giving us access to your data. Please see access to their privacy policy above.
How and for how long will your data be stored?
By storing your data on a cloud service certified with the industry-leading ISO27018 standard, admedicum ensures that your electronically stored data is safe from loss, destruction, manipulation or access by unauthorized persons.
If you only choose to receive a report, your data will be deleted directly after the report is sent.
If you (also) choose to be contacted for an interview and/or for future research purposes in the field of NTM lung disease, your contact data will be retained for a period of 5 years.
Under no circumstances will your data be used for purposes other than those described in this Privacy Policy.
You also have the right to revoke the storage and use of your personal data at any time. Please read the following section.
What rights do you have regarding your data?
You can revoke your consent to use the data we have collected without giving reasons. You then have the right to demand the correction, blocking or deletion of all your information/data stored up to that point. We will comply with your request immediately and inform you of the measures taken. For legal reasons, we must reserve the right to receive data under certain conditions regulated by law, for example if such data is required as evidence in a legal dispute. We will then consult you accordingly in order to respond to your request as far as possible.
